“メディアは主にコロナの怖いニュースしか報道しないようですが、私は報道されないハッピーな事を伝えたいです:コロナの影響で人間がしばらく止まった事により空気が綺麗になり、地球はまた少し緑になり、お家で野菜や植物を育て始めた人が増え、室内で遊ぶより自然で時間を過ごす人が増えた。国、文化、価値観や生活がどんなに違っても今世界中が同じウィルスと共存している。これがきっかけで私が想い描いている’We can have different views but still hold hands’という、考え方が違っていても手を繋げて、お互いそれぞれの華を咲かせるような世界の始まりなんじゃないかと思います。”

She was born in Tokyo, Japan to a German father and Japanese mother. After graduating from college in London, she began working in New York City. After five years in Brooklyn, she moved to Orcas Island, Washington, and started living in a woods as a camper. Since then, she has been traveling back and forth between nature and city life. She works in a variety of fields including art, textiles, graphics, murals and animation. She believes that being excited, following one's intuition, and painting are the ways to reconnect human and the nature.
